起源と適用:

イエスキリストの有名な山頂での説教で、イエスは群衆に向かい偽りの預言者には注意する様に警告をした。本物の預言者とは聖書に従い、イエスの教えに忠実に真実を述べている者だ。偽りの預言者は信仰深い者を装い、キリスト教の教義を揺るがす事を多く語るものである。彼らの実もしくは行動は見破られやすく、そしてそれは火の中に投げ込まれるべきものである。
