最初の石を投げるとは、他人を素早く非難したり、裁いたりする事です  

起源と適用

「最初に石を投げる」は新約聖書の物語から取られています。律法学者とパリサイ派の人々は、嫉妬心から、たびたび群衆の前でイエスを試しました。ある日、彼らはイエスの前に姦淫の将にその場から引かれてきた女性を連れて来て、イエスに言いました、「、先生、この女は、貫通をしているときに捕まりました。こういう女は石で撃ち殺せとモーセは律法の中で命じています。ところであなたはどうお考えになりますか。」しかし、イエスは彼らに言いました, 「あなたたちの中で、罪を犯したことのない者が、まず、この女に石を投げなさい。」これを聞いて、人々は自分の罪を自覚し、、年長者から始めて一人また一人と立ち去ってしまい、イエス一人と真ん中にいた女が残りました。
