你可能听过一首名叫“troubled waters”的歌：like a bridge over troubled waters…水祸这个概念已经不是新的了。水在圣经中常用来比喻不断发生的变化或自然灾难，如洪灾等。诗篇第46章提到：“神是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们在患难中随时地帮助。所以地虽改变，山虽摇动到海心，其中的水虽匉訇翻腾，山虽因海涨而颤抖，我们也不害怕。” “God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…though its waters roar and foam, and the mountains quake with their surging.”（诗篇 46：3 ）
