Jude 1

Meaning

It is of Hebrew origin which carries the meaning of “praise” or “thanks”. “Jude” is an alternative form of “Judas” and is used in the New Testament to distinguish the second apostle called Judas from Judas Iscariot who was also an apostle. He was also referred to as a brother of James in the Book of Jude which was believed to be written by him.
