意味

人が自分がなにをされているか知らずに、ひどい事をされるている時は、まるで殺される前の羊の様です。

起源と適用

イザヤは旧約時代の予言者で、イエスキリストの生誕を700年も前に予言をしていました。イエスの死を予言された時に、上記のような状況におかれ、それはまるで殺される直前の羊のようでした。
