Enoch エノク

意味：エノクは、ヘブル語の、חֲנוֹך (Chanokh),「ひたむきに献げた」とか「熱心な献身した」といった意味の名前です。聖書の中では幾人かの登場人物がこの名前を持っています。カインは、長男をエノクと名付け、また自分が建てた町にも同じ名前を命名しました。もう一人のエノクは、メトシェラ（メトセラ）の父で、ノアの曾祖父にあたります。エノクは、神と共に３００年以上も歩みました。
