起源と適用

今では共通の表現である「お金の愛はすべての悪の根源である」は、彼の献身的な従者テモテにあてたのパウロの手紙に最初に登場します。パウロは、お金の愛からはびこってしまう悪徳について私たちに警告していますが、お金自体が責められるべきものではないのです。。避けるべきなのは、お金そのものではなく、お金への愛です。
