耳の聞こえぬ者を悪く言ったり、目の見えぬ者の前に障害物を置いてはならない。あなたの神を畏れなさい。わたしは主である(レビ記19:14)

意味

つまずきの石は道の邪魔になり、つまずいて転ばせる障害物です。

起源と適用

神がモーセに律法を与えられたとき、とき,その一つは「耳の不自由な人を呪ったり,目の見えない人の前につまずきの石を置いたりたりするな」というものでした。
