你可能聽過一首名叫“troubled waters”的歌：like a bridge over troubled waters…水禍這個概念已經不是新的了。水在聖經中常用來比喻不斷發生的變化或自然災難，如洪災等。詩篇第46章提到：“神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時地幫助。所以地雖改變，山雖搖動到海心，其中的水雖匉訇翻騰，山雖因海漲而顫抖，我們也不害怕。” “God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…though its waters roar and foam, and the mountains quake with their surging.”（詩篇 46：3 ）
