簡介: 英文聖經對英語的發展過程影響深遠。英文聖經的寫成衍生了不少常用英文習語。英文聖經亦運用多種修辭法,其文學價值備受中外學者推崇。莎士比亞劇中的文本不少引用自聖經的經文。有東方莎士比亞之稱的劇作家曹禺也曾在英語課時教授聖經的英語。本課程旨在裝備學員如何透過閱讀聖經提高對西方文化及語言的理解,認識當中的文學價值,包括修辭及常用習語。除此以外,學員更有機會學習設計聖經英語課程,把所學應用在學校或教會內。是次課程的對象為所有基督徒,特別歡迎英語教師及其他有志透過英語專業侍奉的學員報讀。 
日期:2009年11月21日至12月12日(逢週六,共四堂)
