意味

どの人も2人のマスタに奉仕できない--マスタは誰であるか?ここでは、イエスは、それらを、神とマンモン、マンモンのは古代ヘブライ人用語と称する。イエスは弟子に、それらが1人、またはエンティティに同時に忠実なままでいることができるだけであることを思い出させている。もし主人として富を選ぶならば、神の趣旨にはそむくことになります。。昨今では、人々は、利害対立がある時に、このフレーズを使います。例えば、企業の取締役がが様々な組織のための種々の帽子を同時にかぶっている時には、彼が何かの1つの組織に本当に捧げられうるかが疑わしい。
